Some nice readings here, form general info to really useful links and such. In the classroom, the strengths of podcasting would seem to include creating excited learners, collaboration among students in small groups in the classroom, developing editing and story-telling skills, an awareness and -hopefully - a sensitivity to a wider global audience, and general skills relating to turning raw information into an organized, coherent and compelling form. Emphasis is on content and communication, with the technique/tool (making a podcast) enabling rather than controlling this skill.
